BSkyB’s Rugby Union Finals
On 07, Jun 2014 | In News, Sport | By Rory Brennan
Another Northern Hemisphere club Rugby Union season coming to an end always signals both The Amlin Challenge Cup and The Heineken Cup finals.
Little Tale’s Rory Brennan had the privileged of editing the Show Openers for both finals, after having previously cut The Heineken Cup Season Promo for BSkyB.
The Amlin Challenge Cup always proves to be a great game between two great sides, but the real highlight was editing the Opener for The Heineken Cup final. In a match that featured reigning champions RC Toulon and the consistently strong Saracens F.C., the content to work with was always going to be of the highest quality. The producer, Tim Dale, worked with me to execute an idea playing on the Saracens nickname of The Wolf Pack and the history between the two sides. The opener featured real wolf footage and a strong sound design.
The greatest significance of this opener however, was that this is the last Heineken Cup. So helping to close out a long history is a privileged.
