Rory Helps Out Take 2
On 30, Apr 2010 | No Comments | In News | By Rory Brennan
In an effort to give back to the community, Take 2 was elected as the company’s main charity.
Little Tale designed and edited several videos to promote either the charity or individual modules within the Take 2 program. In addition to this, Little Tale created comprehensive workflows designed to allow students to use the Take 2 project on a variety of computer and software platforms. Due to the involvement, Little Tale’s Rory Brennan was invited to join Take 2 as it’s Chief Technical Advisor. This from Take 2:
Rory Brennan joined Take 2 in 2008 as a technical expert to help us solve technical issues involving the distribution of hi-definition video to high schools using over a dozen different software packages and platforms. Rory immediately began resolving issues that even the experts at Apple computer and Adobe had not been able to address, and within a short time had created protocols for almost any school that had adequate equipment. Without Rory’s expertise, organization, and tenacity, Take 2 would have failed in its goal to distribute hi-definition conflict footage free of charge to 4,000 high school students across the globe by 2010.
Rory has since successfully tackled a variety of high-end technical issues involving media and education in North America, single-handedly pushing Take 2 to the cutting-edge of digital literacy as it applies to the current curricular standards. In so doing, he has contributed substantially to both the schools involved in Take 2’s programs and in the abilities of youth media organizations across the country to provide enhanced services to their constituents.
Rory is dedicated, reliable, responsive, creative, and extraordinarily knowledgeable about all things pertaining to digital media. We have been incredibly lucky to have him on our team.

About
Take 2: Each year Take 2 shoots 2-3 months of high-definition footage in a different conflict region, creates extensive supporting and background documentation, and then licenses the package free of charge to qualified educational institutions throughout North America and Europe. Participating schools will complete one small task to help grow Take 2’s infrastructure and undertake at least one advocacy event using their projects.
